You’ll probably notice the abrupt shedding of bloat, so-to-speak. I have been running all of my websites on Namecheap for the better part of two and a half years. While I’ve benefitted a lot from their business hosting plan, I’ve simply outgrown it. I’ve taken on clients, additional websites of mine have launched, etc. The hosting became slow and hard to use. I knew the time was now.
I began looking into alternatives. What I settled on, in very simple terms, was Cloudflare Pages. I use Cloudflare already, so it’s built-in to my workflow, and I knew I could rapidly update my site should something change. (This could shift to being WPEngine based later, but the jury’s still out on it.) All of that, however, doesn’t give my clients any choices. What do I do for them?
Well, the solution there is to work with WPEngine and DreamPress by DreamHost to bring the best to them. I am not sponsored nor being paid by either to say this, but both have affordable plans for small-to-medium sized businesses. I’m excited to start implementing these offerings in the coming weeks, and wind down my business plan with Namecheap.
