I totally saw this coming, but Apple has delayed Siri’s Personal Context capability — a feature they billed as a more personal Siri in the WWDC 2024 keynote, and thus, spent a bit of screen time on.
From Apple spokeswoman Jacqueline Roy, via Daring Fireball:
“[…] We’ve also been working on a more personalized Siri, giving it more awareness of your personal context, as well as the ability to take action for you within and across your apps. It’s going to take us longer than we thought to deliver on these features and we anticipate rolling them out in the coming year.”
Like I said, I saw this coming. I really didn’t think they had this feature finished and ready for the masses, and it’s honestly I see it as very likely that this could slip into 2026 territory. But only time will tell.
